Benefit corporation
In April 2022, we became a benefit corporation: this type of company represents an evolution of the very concept of business as it integrates into its social purpose the aim of having a positive impact on the community, individuals, and the environment.
Attention to raw materials
97% (data from 2022) of the yarns used for our products are regenerated or surplus yarns: this is to limit the waste of raw materials and maximize the reuse of existing resources.
The quality of the yarn and artisanal craftsmanship ensure the durability of the garment and consequently respect for the environment.
Short supply chain
The production of our garments takes place within a 70 km radius of our production facility located in the Marche region.
This proximity allows us to have real control over the production process and working conditions of suppliers and artisans, with whom we collaborate to determine the product, price, and production timelines.
Ethical financial management
We believe that respect for ethical and sustainable values does not end with the product, which is why we have chosen to use an account with Banca Etica.
A collective company
Listening to and constant dialogue with our community has always been one of our distinguishing features: to involve it even more and make it feel fully part of our company, in april 2023 we launched a crowdfunding campaign.
Around 200 new partners believed in us and joined Gaia Segattini Knotwear!
Recognitions
Our commitment to sustainability and impact in the socio-economic scenario surrounding us has been recognized nationally.
In 2022, we won the "Business Environment Award" for "Best management for sustainable development" promoted by the Camera di Commercio di Venezia e Rovigo, in collaboration with Unioncamere, under the patronage of the Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica.
In 2023, we represented the Marche region for the national "Changes" award promoted by cna, receiving the special mention "Social Impact".
